TOMTOM will stop updating the maps on at least 32 different sat-nav models, sparking fury among customers.
The company issued a statement warning sat-nav owners that their maps would "become out-of-date", adding that navigation will be "less accurate".
Most models have Bluetooth transceivers that allow connection to a smartphone. In the year 2011, Tom Tom in association with Nike, released its first fitness watch and after that the company has itself released several watches (Tom Tom Runner, Multi-sport, Spark).
It also caters the use of these watches for the golf players.
Some Tom Tom products can also be connected to the mobile phones via the Bluetooth.
